If you're new to Project Simia, welcome! Project Simia is an primate-focused educational project with the aim to educate, get people invested, and get people taking action. If you've been following Project Simia for a while, firstly thank you! And welcome to the new website.
What is Project Simia all about?
At the heart of it, I just want to talk about how amazing primates are to people. I want people to find that interested spark, to fall just as much in love with them, and to understand how vital it is that we conserve them. Primates are fascinating and so wonderfully diverse. They are fantastic tool users, incredibly intelligent, and come with adaptations that make them suited to their environment. There's so much to cover I could go on and on!

Project Simia's posts across social media aim at taking these dizzying arrays of topics and presenting them in bitesized posts that catch your interest and hopefully teach you something you didn't know! We cover fun facts, focus on a species, as well as highlight organisations and petitions or fundraisers you can throw your support behind.
Since Project Simia's conception and launch, it has grown into something I am so deeply proud of. When I first started on my passion project, I could never had imagined that it would develop into a well established project that reaches audiences worldwide, connects with big conservation orgs that are making a real difference, and has led me to amazing opportunities. I am forever grateful for it's supporters.
Together, let's get excited about primates and take action for a better future! I do hope you enjoy the website and following Project Simia.
